Here’s to the love of stripes! Our Marinière placemat homage to the great striped jumpers of the Bretons has got company in the form of napkins. The design takes up the striped look of the Breton sailors and reinterprets it with lots of bright colours. The colourful napkins are great for cosy brunch mornings at the weekend, but are just as much a colourful highlight on any dinner table! They are hand-drawn from the first strip, screen-printed by hand and sewn for you in a Hamburg tailor’s shop! So tutto completto locally and fairly produced!

By the way, they can also be perfectly combined with our matching Marinière placemats. We hope you enjoy the bright colours, stripes and une petite brise bretonne!

  • Size: H 33 cm, W 33 cm
  • Made by hand and with love: Our tablelinen collection is made by hand from the very first stroke: the motifs are hand-drawn, screen-printed by hand and the printed fabrics are finished in a Hamburg tailor’s shop.
  • Colour: lilac, red, turquoise
  • Material: Ramie linen (80%RA / 20%CO), Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 product class II, Vliesofix (100% PA), Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 product class I
  • The Mariniètte napkins are produced by screen printing the hand-drawn striped pattern onto the fabric. The printed fabric is then edged with the colourful frame by our Hamburg tailor.
Please only wash the napkins at 30 degrees gentle wash, pull them into shape while still damp after washing and leave them to dry flat on a drying rack. They are not suitable for tumble drying. Please always use a tea towel between the napkin and the iron when ironing to prevent the screen printing ink from rubbing off.

toujours à table was founded by me, Lara, in 2023. Inspired by the time we spent together with my family in Brittany and our many T3 trips along the Breton coast, I designed and drew the motifs for our tablelinen collection. Once you have market-fresh oysters, artichokes and vino on the table, you immediately understand the savoir-vivre and never want to have it any other way! The drawn scallops, oysters, etc. in the collection are the result of exactly this Breton attitude to life and bring it directly to your home! After the motifs have been drawn and applied to the screens, I screen print them onto the fabrics and then the fabrics are processed in a Hamburg tailor’s shop. The result is a colourful tablelinen collection of tablecloths, placemats, napkins and tea towels that will make your home a little more colourful, cheerful and un petit peu plus française!
