With its bright colours and wave shape, the Vague placemat brings a lot of cheerfulness to your table! Whether for brunch, lunch or dinner, the sets can be wonderfully combined and integrated into ever new table settings. They are hand-drawn from the first stroke of the wave shape, screen-printed by hand and sewn for you in a Hamburg tailor’s shop! So tutto completto locally and fairly produced!

They also make a great splash of colour on colourful summer tables, at garden parties or picnics! So, let colour and lots of cheerfulness enter your life and laisse la vague flow!

  • Size: Ø 35 cm
  • Made by hand and with love: Our tablelinen collection is made by hand from the very first stroke: the motifs are hand-drawn, screen-printed by hand and the printed fabrics are finished in a Hamburg tailor’s shop.
  • Colour: lilac, blau
  • Material: Ramie linen (80%RA / 20%CO), Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 product class II, Vliesofix (100% PA), Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 product class I
  • The Vague placemat is produced by screen printing the hand-drawn wave circle onto the fabric. A left and a right side are printed, i.e. mirrored. The two layers of fabric are interlocked and glued together with Vliesofix, a double-sided adhesive interlining, to give the set more stability. The toujours à table logo is printed in the centre of the back.
Please only wash the placemat at 30 degrees gentle wash and pull it into shape while still damp after washing and leave it to dry flat on the drying rack. It is not suitable for tumble drying. The Vliesofix layer may cause slight bubbles after washing, but these can be easily ironed out! Please always use a tea towel between the set and the iron when ironing so that the screen printing ink does not rub off.

    ABOUT

toujours à table was founded by me, Lara, in 2023. Inspired by the time we spent together with my family in Brittany and our many T3 trips along the Breton coast, I designed and drew the motifs for our tablelinen collection. Once you have market-fresh oysters, artichokes and vino on the table, you immediately understand the savoir-vivre and never want to have it any other way! The drawn scallops, oysters, etc. in the collection are the result of exactly this Breton attitude to life and bring it directly to your home! After the motifs have been drawn and applied to the screens, I screen print them onto the fabrics and then the fabrics are processed in a Hamburg tailor’s shop. The result is a colourful tablelinen collection of tablecloths, placemats, napkins and tea towels that will make your home a little more colourful, cheerful and un petit peu plus française!
